These terms cover this website. They do not replace the written agreement we make with you if you hire Hawthorn Construction for a project. By using the site you agree to them.

What the site is for

The site tells you about our work and lets you ask for a quote. What it says about services, timelines and what a project involves is general. Your own project is different, so treat it as a starting point and not a promise.

Quotes and estimates

Sending the contact form or booking a visit does not create a contract. A price becomes firm only when we give it to you in writing and you accept it in writing. Ranges and cost factors on this site are explanations, not quotes.

Contacting you

When you send the form you agree that we may contact you about your project by phone, email and text. Tips and updates are sent only if you tick the optional box. You can stop texts by replying STOP and emails with the unsubscribe link. How we handle your details is in our privacy policy.

Photos and what you send us

Only upload photos and documents you are allowed to share. You keep ownership of what you send. By sending it, you let us use it to prepare your quote and carry out the work.

Our content

The text, photos and design on this site belong to Hawthorn Construction or are used with permission. You can share a link to a page. Please do not copy the content or photos of our work without asking us first.

Accuracy and availability

We try to keep the site correct and running, but we do not promise it will always be. Information may be out of date, and the site may be down from time to time. Links to other websites are for your convenience and we are not responsible for what is on them.

Limits

We are not responsible for losses that come from relying on the general information on this site instead of a written quote and agreement for your project. Nothing here limits any right you have under Ontario or Canadian law that cannot be limited.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
